New York Knicks that earned untouchable status: Immanuel Quickley

Throughout the season, there was a strong case to be made that Immanuel Quickley had emerged as a key part of the New York Knicks’ future. Even if it was just as a key staple for the team off the bench.

Coming off the best season of his career thus far, Quickley officially finished second in the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year voting. He averaged 15 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game on 45% shooting from the field and 37% shooting from three-point range.

If there is one concern about Quickley, it’s the fact that he took somewhat of a step back in production during the playoffs. Considering his limited playoff experience, that’s perhaps something the Knicks can overlook for now, especially considering how valuable he was for the team off the bench during the regular season.

You’d have to imagine that it would take a big offer for the Knicks to part ways with Quickley. If the Knicks do trade him, it would likely be in a package for another star.
