Knicks vs. Wizards prediction and odds for Friday, January 13th (New York’s ATS trend will continue)

Decision time will come at some point for the 18-24 Wizards, because no team wants to be stuck in the middle in the NBA. They beat the Chicago Bulls who are stuck in the middle with them on Wednesday without Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis. The Wizards need to keep winning games to keep this team together come trade deadline time and they’ve got a little less than a month to do it.

It’s a different story in New York. The Knicks could be looking to add to this roster that has gotten to 23-19, especially if they build off their recent 5-1 stretch that have gotten them to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers were their latest victim on Wednesday, will Washington be next?

Here are the odds for the Knicks and Wizards in Washington DC tonight.

Knicks vs. Wizards odds, spread and total

Knicks vs. Wizards prediction and pick

The Wizards got away with a win against Chicago this week because while they were missing two of their top guys, the Bulls were missing Demar DeRozan and that’s a bigger loss. Kyle Kuzma had 21 points to lead the way and he’ll have to be their offensive catalyst without Beal and potentially Porzingis again tonight.

The Wizards are 21st in offensive rating this year and I can’t see them keeping pace with the Knicks tonight. Not only is Jalen Brunson playing like an all-star and coming off a 34 point night, but RJ Barrett is playing his best basketball of the season. If he continues to play well alongside Brunson and Julius Randle then the Knicks, who have won five of their last six, will just keep winning.

The Knicks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games playing on one day rest and I think that trend continues tonight.
