Knicks vs Nets Prediction and Promo: Bet $10, Win $200 at WynnBET Sportsbook

After a disappointing 127-123 loss to the Thunder, the 25-33 New York Knicks hope to snap a two-game losing streak when they host the 30-27 Brooklyn Nets tonight at 7:30 PM EST. WynnBET has New York as 4-point favorites and -180 on the moneyline (bet $18 to profit $10) while the over/under is set at 217.5 for this Knicks vs Nets matchup.

Knicks vs Nets Prediction

The Knicks are quickly showing they can’t be trusted against anyone. They’ve lost two straight as favorites after beating the Warriors and are now just 2-8 against the spread (ATS) over their last 10 games. With a bottom-10 offensive rating and defensive rating in that stretch, New York has to right the ship and fast before this season is lost for good.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, has covered the spread in three straight and just debuted the newly acquired Seth Curry and Andre Drummond in a win over the Kings. The Nets seem to finally have some organizational clarity after trading James Harden and the locker room seems genuinely happier.

Happiness doesn’t buy defense though, and Brooklyn still sucks at that end of the floor. They’re 27th in defensive rating over their last 10 and until Ben Simmons dons his uniform for the first time, they’ll continue to be bad.

So we have two teams with bad defenses and a relatively low total, eh? That means it’s a lovely time for an over! The over is 7-2-1 in the Knicks’ last 10 games and 4-1 in the Nets’ last five. With the offensive improvement the Nets should see from adding Curry and a Knicks’ defense that has given up at least 112 in seven straight, I love the over trend to continue.

I’m on the over 217.5 (-110) as both defenses continue to falter.
