SF/PF Taurean Prince</h3> <p>With the Timberwolves having a relatively disappointing season in 2022-23, we could see them look to shake things up this offseason. If this becomes the case, the Knicks should definitely look into acquiring some of their role players. More specifically, if Taurean Prince is made available, the Knicks should do their due diligence in trying to acquire the 29-year-old.</p> <p>Prince be somewhat cheap to acquire, but he would be a great addition and fit to the bench. Not only was he a great three-point shooter, shooting 38.1% from three on 3.6 attempts, but he has also been a very solid defender since taking on a bigger role off the bench.</p> <p>As a whole, Prince averaged 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 46.7% from the field. Adding this sort of player to a bench that already has Immanuel Quickley and Josh Hart would help improve the team tremendously.</p> <p>Prince is one of the more versatile role players in the NBA on either side of the ball and is a player that teams will be all over if he&#8217;s made available. In addition to his defense, Caruso is rounding out a solid offensive game that makes it easy to play him at any time throughout the game.</p> <p>This season, Caruso averaged 5.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 45.5% from the field and 36.4% from deep on 2.3 attempts. These offensive numbers won&#8217;t blow anyone away, but him being as solid as he is on that end is just icing on the cake.</p> <p>Having two guards with All-Defensive talent off the bench would be insanely fun to watch. The hustle and effort Caruso would bring to New York would fit incredibly well with the culture this team is starting to build.
