Knicks vs Trailblazers Prediction
Both of these teams are facing lost seasons. The Knicks are just 3-10 over their last 13 and 2-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last eight while the Trailblazers are 2-8 outright and 3-7 ATS in their last 10. Portland just traded C.J. McCollum away, signifying the end of the Lillard-McCollum era and ushering in a new tanking strategy for the rest of the season.
For their part, the Knicks are certainly still trying to win, they’re just not doing a whole lot of it. But today presents a perfect opportunity to take advantage of a Portland team that has no interest in winning games the rest of the season. They did beat the Lakers in their last contest, but pretty much everyone is doing that so we can’t give them too much credit.
I’d argue the Lakers win is actually giving us value on the Knicks today. Prior to beating Los Angeles, the Trailblazers had losses to the Magic, the Thunder twice, and the Lakers themselves without LeBron.

I’m on the Knicks -4.5 (-110) but am also on the under 216.5 (-110). The Trailblazers have scored over 100 points just twice in their last six games. One of those was against the Lakers, who are terrible, and the other was in a blowout loss to Milwaukee in which the Bucks dominated the entire game. The Knicks don’t have the offense that Milwaukee does and I like this game to stay under the total.
