United States players will report to training camp in Las Vegas on Thursday, August 3. Quentin Grimes, who was named to the U.S. Select Team, will join Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart in Vegas. Grimes and other Select Team members will go up against Brunson, Hart, and the rest of the FIBA World Cup roster in head-to-head matchups.

The 2023 FIBA World Cup will begin on Friday, August 25, and conclude on Sunday, September 10. The tournament will take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.

The United States will compete in Group C against Jordan, Greece, and New Zealand. The team’s first round games will be played in the Philippines.

How can New York Knicks fans watch 2023 FIBA World Cup?

FIBA and ESPN came to a rights agreement for the 2023 World Cup, meaning that all games will be available on ESPN platforms. FIBA announced that six first round games will be televised by ESPN, three in which the United States will play.

After the first round, the remaining 86 games will be broadcast by ESPN+ and FIBA’s streaming service, Courtside 1891. A subscription is required to access ESPN+.
